How do I get in touch with you?

While Artful Agenda is designed to work seamlessly and beautifully in most current browsers, Artful Agenda is especially wonderful in Google Chrome!

 
 
Do you have a mobile app for my phone or tablet?

Yes! We currently offer a mobile app designed for your phone in both the Apple App store and Google Play store.

We also plan to develop a tablet specific app in the future. This app will have a layout similar to the desktop version as well as stylus compatibility.

 
 
How do I use stickers?

Artful Agenda is excited to offer a wide variety of sticker packs! To use them, follow these simple instructions:

 

On Desktop:

1. Click the Stickers tab on the left.
2. Click one of the sticker pack icons in the left column to view all stickers in that pack. (Scroll up and down when hovering over the pack icons to view them all.)
3. Click and hold on a sticker in the right column to drag it onto the calendar. Release to place. (Scroll up and down when hovering over the stickers in each pack to view them all.
4. Stickers can be only be placed on the calendar grid, but we will be expanding placement capabilities in future updates.

 

On Mobile:

1. Click the menu button in the bottom right corner and select Stickers.
2. Click on a sticker pack icon in the top row to view the stickers in the pack. (Scroll to view all sticker packs.)
3. Press and long hold on a sticker in the bottom row to drag it into the calendar grid. (Scroll to view all stickers in each pack.)
4. Stickers can be only be placed on the calendar grid, but we will be expanding placement capabilities in future updates.
5. Press and long hold on a sticker in the grid to reposition or drag to the trashcan in the bottom right. 

 
 
Do you have push notifications for event reminders? How do I use them?

Yes! We are so excited to have recently released push notifications for event reminders! There are two ways to use them:

1. Navigate to the “manage calendars” screen and click on the individual calendar name to set up default reminders (alarms) for that calendar.
2. Use the event modal to set unique reminders (alarms) for a specific event.

 

I am having trouble syncing to Apple. Can you help me?

Yes! Syncing to Apple involves two distinct steps. Most of our users who have trouble connecting to their Apple account have been successful once they ensured completion of both steps. 

STEP 1: Ensure that two-factor authentication is on

On your iPhone or iPad:

  • Go to Settings > (your name) > Password & Security
  • Ensure that Two-Factor Authentication is toggle on.
  • If toggling on, tap Continue and follow verification prompts

On your Mac:

  • Go to Apple () menu > System Preferences > iCloud > Account Details
  • Click Security
  • Click Turn on Two Factor Authentication

STEP 2: Login to Apple ID to generate app-specific password

  • Sign in to your Apple ID account page.
  • In the Security section, click Generate Password below App-Specific Passwords.
  • Follow the steps on your screen and copy the generated passoword.

 

How do I sync more than one Google, iCal, or Outlook account?

To use multiple Google, iCal, or Outlook calendars in Artful Agenda, simply share any additional calendars with the account you currently have synced. You will do this within the Google, iCal or Outlook account you want to add.

For example, if you have already synced your personal Google account but would like to add your work Google account, go to the share settings within Google for your work account and share it with the Google account already linked to Artful Agenda. Make sure to choose the permission settings that allow you to “make changes and manage sharing”. Once you do this, just click “sync calendars” in Artful and you should be good!

 
 
How do I create an additional calendar?

Because Artful Agenda integrates with Google Calendar, iCal, and Outlook, there are some things best handled in those programs directly. Luckily we’ve made this process super easy!

For Google: Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of your list of Google calendars, there’s a link labeled Create Calendar. Go here to create a new calendar.

For Apple: You will need to visit https://www.icloud.com/#calendar. Just click on the gear icon to create a new one!

For Outlook: Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of your list of Outlook calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars and Sharing. Go here to create a new calendar.

Once you’re done creating your new calendar (in either Google, iCal, or Outlook), come back to Artful Agenda, click the Calendar icon in the menu bar again, but this time click Sync Calendars. Voila! Your new calendar should now appear in your calendars list.

 
 
How do I share a calendar?

Calendar sharing will need to be done within Google Calendar, iCal, or Outlook.

Go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of each list of calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars & Sharing.

Get your sharing settings exactly how you want them and return to Artful Agenda when you’re done!

 
 
How do I change my default time zone?

Switching back and forth between time zones or using different time zones for different calendars can get pretty messy. To keep things simple, we let Google and iCloud handle those kinds of details.

For a quick link to edit your Google, iCloud, or Outlook calendar settings, go to the top Artful Agenda menu bar, click the Calendar icon, and then select Manage Calendars. Here you’ll see all the calendars associated with your accounts. At the bottom of each list of calendars, there’s a link labeled Manage Calendars & Sharing. Simply click that link and make your changes in the Time Zone section.

When you’re done, just click the Calendar icon in your Artful Agenda menu bar again, click Sync Calendars, and you’re all set.

 
 
How do I change my Artful Agenda password?

We understand the importance of keeping your personal information protected, so we’ve made it easy to update your Artful Agenda password.

To change your password, go to the top Artful Agenda navigation menu and click the Account (person) icon on the right. Then, click the My Account link. Find the Password section in the User Settings box and click Edit. Put in your current password, then your new password, and finally confirm your new password. Click Save and you’re all done!

 
 
How do I use the Artful Agenda referral program?

We want to reward you for telling others about Artful Agenda! Share your unique referral code with your friends to earn 10% of their first payment. (Referral codes can only be applied during registration.) 

To find your unique referral code, access your Artful Agenda account via any web browser at app.artfulagenda.com. Click on the profile icon and then My Account. Under the Referrals section, you will see your unique code listed. Here you can also view your referral credit (Stripe balance) and any users who input your code when joining Artful Agenda.

How to use referral credit:

If you subscribed to Artful Agenda via our website, your referral credit (Stripe balance) will automatically be applied to your future subscription fees.

If you subscribed to Artful Agenda via Google Play or the Apple App Store, you will need to subscribe via our website’s secure Stripe payment platform to use your referral credit. Please see “How do I change my subscription type?” below. 

 
 
Where can I see and update my payment information?

If you subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play, you will need to view your information there.

For the Apple App Store:

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage.

For Google Play:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store.
2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
3. Tap Menu and then Subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you would like to manage.

If you subscribed on the Artful Agenda site, we use Stripe for all payment processing to make your Artful Agenda subscription as safe and simple as possible.

To view or update your payment information, you will need to login to app.artfulagenda.com via any browser. Once you are logged in, simply go to the top right navigation menu, click the Account (person) icon, and then click the My Account link. In the Payments & Billing section you’ll find information about your current plan, as well as links to Update Payment Information, View Payment History, or Cancel Subscription. Once you’ve made any changes, click Save and you’re all done!

 
 
How do I change my subscription type?

Changing your subscription type from monthly to annual or vice versa is easy. You can also change from subscribing via the mobile app to subscribing via our website’s secure Stripe payment platform or vice versa.

To do so, simply cancel your subscription (see “How do I cancel my subscription?” below) and continue to use Artful Agenda. When your paid period is over, you will be prompted to select a new subscription and can then choose a new type. Be sure you are selecting your new subscription via the platform you wish to subscribe through. (For example, if you wish to subscribe through our website, be sure to select your subscription plan when logged in through a browser.)

Don’t worry, when your paid period is over, your Artful Agenda data will remain securely stored on our servers. Once your new subscription is chosen, you will have access to all previous data from your account.

 
 
How do I cancel my subscription?

If you subscribed via the Apple App Store or Google Play, you will need to cancel your subscription there. If you subscribed on the Artful Agenda site, you will cancel by going to app.artfulagenda.com via any browser (NOT via the app).

For the Apple App Store:

1. On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store.
2. Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap View Apple ID. You might need to sign in with your Apple ID.
3. Scroll to Subscriptions, then tap it.
4. Tap the subscription that you want to manage/cancel.

For Google Play:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store.
2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account.
3. Tap Menu and then Subscriptions.
4. Select the subscription you would like to manage/cancel.

For those who subscribed via the Artful Agenda site:

Once you are logged in to app.artfulagenda.com on a browser (NOT the app), simply go to the top right navigation menu, click the Account (person) icon, and then click the My Account link. In the Payments & Billing section you’ll find a Cancel Subscription link.
